Position Summary
KoreStrat is seeking a Junior Video Editor operating as an independent contractor to support social media and digital content mandates. This role is suited for emerging editors who are serious about developing professional standards and gaining experience working on real client projects within a structured production environment.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form social media content
- Support long-form editing projects
- Apply basic color correction and audio balancing
- Follow structured editing briefs
- Maintain brand consistency under direction
- Deliver revisions within agreed timelines
Qualifications
- Registered Independent Contractor
- Bilingual (asset)
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Film, Media, or Digital Production program — or equivalent experience
- Secondary V (DES) considered an asset
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing software
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized file management
- Willingness to receive structured feedback
- Reliable and deadline-oriented
