Position Summary

KoreStrat is seeking a Junior Videographer operating as an independent contractor to support structured content mandates across industries. This opportunity is designed for emerging professionals who are serious about their craft and ready to gain meaningful field experience. You will contribute to real client mandates; including corporate content, brand storytelling, event coverage, and real estate production - while working within a structured production framework. We are looking for individuals who are motivated to grow, committed to quality, and eager to develop professional-level standards in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in capturing short-form and long-form video content
Produce vertical-first content for social platforms
Follow structured shot lists and production briefs
Support lighting and audio setup
Operate drone equipment when certified (if applicable)
Maintain brand consistency under direction
Represent KoreStrat professionally on-site
Deliver footage within agreed timelines

Qualifications

Registered as an independent contractor
Bilingual (English and French)
Available for travel within Quebec
Valid driver's license
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Film, Media, or related program (DEC, AEC, or equivalent) — or equivalent hands-on experience
Secondary V diploma (DES) considered an asset
Owns video equipment (professional or semi-professional level)
Drone certification (asset)
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and care in execution
Able to follow structured direction and production briefs
Professional and comfortable in client environments
Organized, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work
