Position Summary

KoreStrat is recruiting a Sales Director on behalf of a client in the industrial equipment sector. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic client relationships across the industrial sector. We are looking for a results-driven commercial leader with a proven track record in B2B industrial sales, strong people management skills, and the strategic vision to identify and capture market opportunities at a senior level. This position is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada. Remote work is fully supported, with regular travel to Montreal expected.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives across Canada
  • Define and execute the sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the industrial equipment sector
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives
  • Set individual and team performance targets and monitor results
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients and partners
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of high-value proposals and contracts
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and product teams to align sales efforts
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and forecasting to leadership
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and executive client meetings
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and French preferred)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in industrial equipment, heavy machinery, or a related sector strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or DEC in Business, Sales, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate a sales team
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient with CRM platforms and data-driven sales management
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Available for regular travel to Montreal and across Canada as required
  • Executive-level presence, communication, and relationship management skills
  • High attention to detail and structured leadership discipline
